14 Aug Auto Repair Edison New Jersey
I recently took my car into Lou’s Edison Motors and was very pleased with the service I got. Lou and his service writer Sean were very nice and upfront with what they were going to be checking out and how much it was going to cost. Normally when I go into a shop, I feel like I’m being taken advantage of. I don’t know much about cars and usually the service writer can sense that and therefore I get the feeling that they are going to charge me for a bunch of repairs I don’t need. This was not the case the at Lou’s shop.
First of all, Lou might be one of the funniest, charming, warm guys in all of New Jersey. He has a great sense of humor and was very warm and kind hearted to me even though I literally had no idea what he was talking about when it came to my car.
Even though, it’s technically located in Fords, Lou’s Edison Motors has been serving the Edison, NJ area for over a couple decades years having recently located to their new shop which, like I said, is technically in Fords but is still very much in the Edison area. Lou joked with me that “Thomas Edison invented everything, except car repair” and that’s why he had decided to start his shop. LOL.
After about 45 minutes of looking around in my car, it turned out that I only needed new spark plugs and Lou was more than happy to give me them at cost. He and Sean explained to me why I needed them and even though I still couldn’t explain to you (the reader of this blog) why I needed them, it totally made sense while I was there. LOL. Anyhow, my little Nelly Belly (10’ Elantra) has never run better which is good cause I’m heading out to the beach in a couple of weeks and don’t want to be stuck on the turnpike! LOL. Thanks Sean and Lou! If you’re looking for good, trustworthy people to work on your car or truck repairs, then I highly suggest Lou’s Edison Motors. Heck, you’ll probably come out of there with a couple of new jokes to tell your friends as well!
